JBL Control 5 6 1 2 2 Way Shielded Speaker Pair Review: JBL Control 5 6-1/2" 2-Way Shielded Speaker Pair Black. These are a step up from satellite speakers with smaller 3" - 5" drivers.The sound is somewhat on the bright side. Personally I like the titanium tweeters ability to articulate drumcymbals and the accuracy of the 6" speakers, especially when you have a subwoofer tohandle the bass.The speakers have a rugged molded enclosure and a metal grille with the famous orange JBL logo.Unfortunately, the speaker terminals are the push spring variety rather than binding posts, but that is my only complaint.As with any speaker this size, the Control 5's ...
