JBL BALBOA CENTER Review: JBL Balboa 5-Inch Center Channel Dual Loudspeaker (Each). I hooked this up to a fairly basic set up - an older Phillips surround sound receiver/amplifier with just left and right speakers currently attached, and I was astonished by how much it boosted the overall sound. It's clean sound too - and seems to do well with the entire range, both highs and lows.
